All courses, tutorials and coaching opportunities are available in person in the Greater Perth region of Western Australia or via Skype. Yes, Aleph-Bet through Conversational Hebrew, Conversion, and Learning for Bar and Bat Mitzvah are all available via Skype and in person as well! Since 2010, nearly 100 students aged 11 to 86 have participated in the 600 + hours of Skype instruction we’ve provided. Some Skype from other continents and across international date lines; some Skype during a lunch break long enough for learning but not for a commute.
In the last five years, we’ve refined our program to maximize the benefits available through Skype and modern technology. We use Group Skype and Screen Sharing regularly and have a wealth of on-line resources at our fingertips. Our unique color-and-shape coding system allows accelerated mastery of Hebrew words and syntax. Instant messaging and individuated vocabulary tables help insure that all students receive the resources, information and notes for study needed for their particular programs. E-mails between students and instructors ensure that all written student work can be reviewed and returned to students within one or two weekdays.

“I love working with Sheryl!”
– Nomi, Los Angeles,CA on 9/16/13
Sheryl is passionate and enthusiastic about teaching Hebrew. She has a very organized system of teaching that I appreciate (especially as a teacher myself).
Sheryl goes above and beyond to make sure that I understand exactly what we’re doing, and I love how she uses visual techniques to make each lesson clear.
At first, I was a bit hesitant to do lessons over Skype, but what makes it so great is that Skype has been updated! I can not only screen shot images during our lessons that we do (like looking at a white board), but there is a new feature with Skype where I can also view her computer screen so we can be on the same page. This is really helpful for visiting websites, viewing translations and other useful material on the net together.
Sheryl is a great teacher, and I’m very grateful
