Outside the wall of windows, the shadows lengthen across the emerald green oval where boys are playing “footie”- golden balls are soaring through the air as an amazingly energetic black dog gives chase. As for me, the week has been long and good – the right doors seem to open and close. Heritage College kindly sent me to two days of Pedagogy and Practical Application of Second Language Acquisition and Teaching – it was fantastic! With tremendous support from co-author Kate – and my incredible husband- the “Not-Ten-Not-Commandments: An Interfaith Exploration” was sent off to the ASU International Interfaith Theology Conference Organizer in Melbourne for pre-conference distribution prior to the paper’s presentation at the end of the month. Son got a merit award at the school assembly today and daughter is planning a special mother-daughter day in anticipation of Mother’s Day. I feel blessed – and more than ready to welcome and celebrate Shabbat with JSA friends tonight. Shabbat Shalom!
